These little contraptions were approx $85 each. If you get nothing else from my post, remember this: I RECOMMEND YOU ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM MAGNUM TUNING. I found a video on YT about wiring in resistors and capacitors to build your own O2 sensor simulator. New downstream O2 sensors didn't fix the problem. The codes stayed away for awhile, but the codes returned and I tried lots of things to get them to stay away. I replaced that set with Dorman brand cats. My original cats lasted until around 500k. The left side should get here within a week or so. They list things like that when they're backordered. It's listed as discontinued on for my car. I was told I got the last right side axle available in the country as of now. I'm not upset that I already bought the axles because they will eventually need changed again anyway and they're hard to get right now. The only difference this time is that the vibration was present just cruising at those speeds and didn't get better when I let off the gas. On this current set of axles, I was once again having vibrations in that same speed range. When I let off the gas, the vibration almost went away entirely. My first set started vibrating under acceleration in the 50-70mph range. As you've said, it's always nice to get good tools.

Hopefully I won't have issues for awhile. There's refrigerant you can get with dye in it to help pinpoint leaks. Everything I got is all you need to read and charge to the proper pressure. He likes this manifold because it has a sight glass where you can see as the refrigerant is added. Considering this is about 10 years worth of average driving for most people and I use AC almost every second I drive here, it's not surprising I had another AC issue. One year and over 160k later, it started not cooling well. Jamie recommended I get the gauge set then, but he installed the compressor so I figured it was good for awhile. I had those AC issues last year where it wasn't cooling well. Up until now, I've just bought those cans of refrigerant that have the gauges on them at either Walmart or the parts stores and just added to make the pressure in spec on the gauge. I also sprayed some cleaner on the condenser and hit it with my pressure washer. Jamie said ideally 225# on high side and 30-40# on low side.

I shot just a quick burst of refrigerant in a few nights ago before I had these gauges. This FJC set of gauges with quick connect fittings and 6' hoses along with the can tap was $102 at the local auto parts supplier. I finally got a good set of gauges based on recommendation of our mechanic Jamie. I would want something made for these seats.Ī/C was barely getting cool the other day and summer is upon us here. Ok.Īnother option would be some good quality seat covers. They won't even do it because the seats have airbags. I checked with a local upholstery shop that I previously used for the headliner.

I'm seeing some sites saying they're authorized distributors for Katzkin where I could get the covers for about 1k and install them myself. It would look great, but not sure I want to spend 2k on seats. It would be $300 extra to add different color stitching. Katzkin quote was $1,595 +tax for re-covering the front and rear seats in black. Seats - My seats are still in decent shape, but showing some wear. Will check after next rain for leakage in the trunk. I pulled the gaskets off my old aftermarket lights and doubled up with these OEMs. The gaskets are not the greatest on these used taillights I got.
